With the city of Indianapolis at a hybrid stage 4.5 of the coronavirus restrictions the Indy Eleven pulled off the first major sporting event in downtown Indianapolis with 4761 fan's in attendance.
As fans entered the stadium they were met by trained medical staff who took temperature's as they entered while maintaining a 6 ft. social distance and following the Marion county mandatory face mask rule. Only the players on the field that were not on the bench were not wearing mask.
At the start of the game all players from both teams on field and on bench knelt during the National Anthem in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement that protest to cities across the Country from the death of George Floyd.
The Eleven defeated the visiting St. Louis 2-0
